About This Item

[Madison, WI], 1988. Hand-painted 12" appropriated vinyl LP record, housed in a painted and stencilled gatefold sleeve.

Artists' record issued in conjunction with the 1988 iteration of the Festival of the Swamps, a counter-festival to the Festival of the Lakes. Though the record bears no attribution, it is likely the work of Liz Was and Miekal And, who started the festival.
