Dark brown endpapers.Top edge of papers is brown, fore edge is red. Hinges are cracked, endpapers are torn. Pages have occasional light smudges. Essays remain in their original witty condition, the illustrations of famous quotes are quite humorous. A delightful look back. Good reading copy.
