About This Item

New York, NY: Thunder's Mouth Press, 1992 Thunder's Mouth Press, New York. 1992. Hardcover. Stated First Edition/First Printing. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Near Fine; scant shelfwear. DJ: Very Good +; NOT Price Clipped ($21.95); closed tear on front panel at bottom; rubbing to panels; deep scratches on rear panel. Black paper over boards with black cloth overlay on the spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 325 pp 8vo. This book was written directly after the Gulf War of 1991, where the president unleashed brutal military strikes against and overmatched adversary, not just to win but to annihilate the enemy in a war concocted by foreign policy planners. The moving accounts of the destruction of human life by an overzealous American military are the basis for charges of 19 violations of International Law and a scathing indictment of US activities in the Persian Gulf. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
