About This Item
Paris: Editions Sociales, 1940. Pamphlet. 40p., two illustrations only, a sketch of skulls by Joel front cover, trial photo of perpetrators back cover. Text entirely in French. Softbound, an 8x5.5 inch stapled pamphlet. Of two staples, one is rusted with slight migration and has pulled away from cover wraps, while the other staple is holding, but most leaves bear short tears at all gutters from fragility of paperstock. All leaves and covers are acidic, toned and foxed, several vary badly foxed. An as-is item, damaged but complete. At writing Simonov was Correspondant special du journal l'Etoile Rouge de Moscou. Poisonous gas was used extensively at Maidanek.
