About This Item
Kennewick WA: made for the author by Robert W. Shields, 1965. Pamphlet. 15p., oversize pamphlet in 10x8 inch plain printed white wraps, staple-fastened. Starts off, "Recently an educational authority declared that by 1970 there will be only one poorly paid job available for every five boys who have failed to graducate from high school. The demand for unskilled labor has been constantly shrinking in the face of increased automation" -- and we had only just begun the "corporate flight" that would send breadwinning simple jobs overseas.
