About This Item

George Newnes Ltd, 1919. 1st edition. Hardcover. Red decorated boards as originally issued, slightly paled spine, hinges strengthened, pages clean if a little tinged on account of the paper used, and altogether a very nice copy of the book in which Jeeves made his first appearance, in four of the eight stories. Very scarce thus.

Synopsis

Wodehouse's classic collection of the Jeeves tales includes "Leave It To Jeeves," "Jeeves and the Unbidden Guest," "Jeeves and the Hardboiled Egg," "Absent Treatment," "Helping Freddie," "Rallying Round Old George," "Doing Clarence A Bit of Good," and "The Aunt and the Sluggard."
