Moderate wear to the binding. The corners are bumped and a bit curled. A sound copy with clean text. Illustrated with color photographs and a few maps. James Watkins lived from 1565 until 1623 and was an early settler in Virginia. The family spread throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and some other places, although the genealogical part of the book seems to focus on Virginia and the Piedmont area of North Carolina. The author was born in Plymouth, North Carolina and graduated from High Point University.
