About This Item
One plate has a very slightly chipped top edge; the rest are in uniformly fine condition. The plates are for: (1) J.K. Moir, by C.H. Crampton (Peake 3757); (2) C.M.A. Brown (not in Peake); halftone reproductions of plates for (3) John L. Preece, by Henri van Raalte (Peake 4366); (4) Harold J. Howes, by Harold Byrne (2631); (5) Lorna Robin King, by William Hunter (Peake 2966); (6) Norman C. Fisher, by F. Millward Grey (Peake 1719); (7) Colin B. Berckelman, by Sydney Long (Peake 430); and three plates not in Peake (but we are not certain if they are Australian): (8) Isabel Longbotham; (9) EWD; and (10) an unidentified plate with a modified 'Yin-Yang' design forming what appear to be the initials 'CSS' (with an illegible name written on the verso).
Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent. [10 items].
