Introduction by F. M. Bladen. Frontis. reprints an engraving of Government House, Sydney, 1802. Illustrated with a couple other reproductions, one being a fold-out facsimile of a letter from George Bass, the other color vignettes of prominent estates. With several fold-out maps. Tables. Bound in brown cloth, blindstamped decoration on front board, gilt lettering on spine. First published in Sydney, 1897. An eminently presentable copy of a handsome book production. Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
