Phaidon Press, London, 1942. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Rembrandt. IV, 96 pages of text then 104 pages of plates and four pages following -- index of museums and collections, introduction by author and notes on the plates. Coloured illustrated frontispiece, by Rembrandt, which has been tipped in. The text is illustrated with 104 pages of reproductions of Rembrandt's work of which 7 are in colour and have been tipped in. Beige coloured boards with brown titles embossed to the top edge of the front panel and to the backstrip. Bumping to the book corners and to the backstrip edges. Darkening of the backstrip and there is a few marks and stains to the cloth of the book. Browning to the endpapers and light age toning to the internal text. A look at some of the Netherlands' most famous sons paintings -- Rembrandt. Size: Folio (over 12" tall ). Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Rembrandt. Quantity Available: 1.
