Paris: Imprimerie Chaix, 1900. unbound. very good(+). Poster. Color lithograph. Page measures 15" x 11".<br/><br/> Printed between 1895 and 1900, "Les Maitres de l'Affiche" ("Masters of the Poster") was a lithographed series of 256 plates that reproduces the best American and European posters of the time. Under the artistic direction of Jules Cheret (1836-1932), the prints were published as a monthly subscription. In addition to the four prints disseminated every month, there were 16 bonus plates each originally designed by noted artists including Cheret. Cassiers (1858-1944) was a Belgian artist. Small tears to lower right corner, light glue residue at top left edge.<br/><br/>
