[No place]: Myles Connolly, 1939. Softcover. Near Fine. Dated May 1, 1939. Quarto. 148 mimeographed leaves printed rectos only and brad bound into typed orange wrappers. Small creases on front wrap, near fine. A screenplay suggested by the life and stories of Hans Christian Anderson. Eventually produced in 1952 as *Hans Christian Anderson*, a musical and directed by Charles Vidor and featuring Danny Kaye as Hans Christian Andersen, and Farley Granger. the screenplay was credited to Moss Hart, and as being based on a story by Connolly. Aside from his own credited screenplays, Connolly was a noted script doctor, contributing uncredited to *Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Harvey, Meet John Doe* and others.
