Washington DC: Goverment Printing Office, 1961. First edition. Hardcover. Good +/No jacket. 1863 pages, illustrated with black and white photo plates in front of book. Contains a foreword facsimile signed by Carl Hayde, Chairman, Joint Committee on Printing, a section on Officers of the Executive Branch of the Government, sections on the members of the Continental Congress and those of the Congress of the United States from 1789 to 1961, a section on Census Apportionment of Representatives, and then a section on biographies of members of Congress. Brown cloth binding with gilt decoration on front cover and gilt titles on front cover and spine. Cover a bit scuffed and clouded, particularly at spine and leading edge of back cover, some spotting, light edge wear, corners and spine ends bumped, titles bright, pencil notation "Hornbeck Collection" on front fixed end paper, crease in front free end paper, creases in title page, interior pages bright and clean, binding tight.

Oversized, measures 9 1/2 x 11 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches.
