Oversize white card wraps with grey lettering and motif in red matching end papers. 35 pp. with 21 color images. Errata sheet laid in. (11x16 inches; will require extra postage). Text in English. Catalogue from the exhibition held at the Islamic Arts Museum in Malaysia from April to July, 1999, of carpets from the Collection of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah, the State of Kuwait. Pictured are both exquisite carpets and beautiful Islamic decorative motifs. With an introduction and the catalogue by Walter B. Denny. Each catalague entry includes a structural analysis of the featured carpet. "Zarabi" is the word from the Quran meaning "carpet.
