Chicago: Winston, 1943. Hardcover. Very Good/Very good. Ninth printing 1943. Famous dog story. Illustrated by Marguerite Kirmse. Orange cloth boards with large dog head illustration on front. Map endpapers with 1/2" x 1/2" scrape at side of front pastedown. Otherwise book is clean, straight, and unmarked. Bright dust jacket with illustration of Lassie and blue sky background on front & spine. $2 price on flap. A 1" x 1/2" scrape on spine, two half-inch tears on front, couple of tiny chips, and rubs at fold.
