Soiled, and spotted. Some time ago, a clear mylar protective jacket has been placed over DJ. Wonderful illustrations by Richard Heighway: color on DJ and frontispiece, and black & white throughout the book. Blue cloth covered boards with vine type design on front board. Tips are worn and slightly dented. Wearing to cloth at spine ends. Interesting ex-libris sticker on front paste down. Remnants of old price sticker on backside of FEP. Pages are age-toned, with staining to some pages, small rips to other pages. Smyth sewn binding. A few sections are loose, with mull cloth exposed. Bumped page corners.
