Each plate protected with tissue, tissue printed with explanatory text in French. Paper toned, tissue very toned but not brittle, pages otherwise in very good condition, no wear or marks, colors bright and clear. Brown cloth boards with paper pictorial pasted on at front, lightly soiled and age darkened, corners bumped, spine top and tail bumped. Joints good, front hinges stating to crack, but holding, back hinges good, binding overall intact and firm.

Solid and VG+, with light bumping to the lower-tips and at the foot of the spine. Folio, each plate preceded by a printed transluscent tissue-guard, describing (in English) the scene Arnoux has illustrated along the facing recto.
