Sixteen (16) full color plates by the master, Arthur Rackham; two are detached and laid in at proper place, and one partially detached. Green cloth, worn corners with frayed crown and foot cloth. A previous owners short holiday gift inscription on both front and rear end paper (dated 1924.) Scattered moderate foxing, more so to prelims. A lovely early edition. 126 pages. Protected in a mylar slip.

SCARCE dust jacket features illustration of baby being helped along by 4 fairies tipped in. Titles, etc. on spine in green ink, back cover features other ads for other titles by Barrie. Dust jacket is missing top corner and lower third of front cover, top and base of spine are missing, along with other tears and creases. Book is faded along spine, foxing to end papers, otherwise clean and unmarked. A Good copy in this SCARCE dust jacket. Arthur Rackham RWS was an English book illustrator. He is recognized as one of the leading figures during the Golden Age of British book illustration.
