Edwards and Broughton Publishing Co. , 1909 & 1912. Hardcover. Acceptable. Volume I printed 1909. Volume II printed in 1912. Wine-red cloth covered boards are scuffed and scratched, with notable wearing to spine edges. Serious shelf wear to bottom of spines, lower board edges, and all corner tips are bent/dented and cloth is worn. Boards of both books are fading. Both vols. have soiled boards. Spine strips on both books are rippled and fragile, however the sewn binding has kept all pages relatively intact. Title page on volume one is laid in as it has become detached. LOTS of foxing and staining to both volumes, inside and on all of the page block. Intact tissue guards, however foxed and stained. Musty odor. Cracking in hinges throughout both volumes. Gilt titling on front covers and on spine is still remarkably bright on both books. Very heavy. Will require additional shipping. 879 pps volume one. 875 pps volume II.

Spine is moderately rubbed with a discolored area near the top and edges are tanned, else, this is a Good solid clean and unmarked book - making a matching set. Uncommon set in this condition..
