Former owner's stamp on front free end sheet, another owner's book plate on front paste down and another owner's name on second page.

Gilt on spine is legible if dull, on cover not so dull. A copy generally worn but intact and game for another reading.,

Interior is very good. This is an uncommon history of the Western American territories by Utahan author Beadle. A fascinating, profusely illustrated book with a lovely leather binding, which is sadly marred by the rebacking. (Howes B269).
