All pages are still in tact, but binding is very worn, unpaginated (about 36 pgs) Smyth-sewn binding of the pages is tight. The pages are in great shape and are clean and bright. Oblong Cvr Spine Strip Missing, Interior Nice Tight Clean Light wear Fox ,In the 1920s, Aldarilla had a children's radio show in Cleveland, Ohio. She also wrote plays for a children's playhouse. Mary Alice, better known as "Mell," was only 16 when she did the illustrations for this book. She went on to illustrate many other volumes. For this first endeavor, they stuck to what they knew best. The story is about their Dachshund, Mr. Heinie.. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket.
