"'Chimley, indeed,' answered Jonathan, and it will be remarked here, as hereafter, how much at variance were this excellent pair in their pronunciation of the English language." - page 31. "But as fur as I kan make out thro' makin' inquiries, I'm in a place as they call Edinburry - which is a sort of suburb of Skotland - Skotland bein' the capital of the 'Ighlands." - page 79. .
