Laid into the rear (originally stapled in) is a TLS, folded in half, from Carr to Thompson on Carr's official State of Texas letterhead and dated December 18, 1964: "Dear Bert: I thought you might like to have a permanently bound copy of the Texas Supplemental Report on the assassination of President Kennedy for your library.
