Paper promotional advertising pamphlet folded twice to form eight panels printed on both sides, illustrated with halftone black and white photos of Mt. Lowe, a California Mission, a view of an automobile traveling through "mountains and valleys," a young lady posing with Southern California flowers, a "Typical Southern California Hotel;" and an idealized composite image, in black and white, on the covers - of a passenger ship docking, a beach scene and a view of a valley with snow capped peaks in the background - all overseen by a young lady perched on some rocks. Original, very good condition.

Antelope Valley, Orange County, Pasadena, Long Beach, Beach Cities, Riverside, Palm Springs, Imperial Valley, San Diego, etc., and some information on lodging and transportation. Tiny staple holes at the outer margins, covers lightly rubbed, else a very good copy.

1928 Exceedingly rare ephemera, of great interest to any L.A. fan. This is a 50 page brochure, neatly repaired at the spine and with no damage to anything 'live'. The pages are stapled and firm, nothing missing. It has a truly outstanding artwork cover, front and back, in full colour, and very much in the 1920s style. Inside are articles on the County, and many photographs. Articles on several aspects of life in the area cover the climate, business, leisure, and agriculture.
