Rare, oversize oblong folio in green cloth library binding, copyright 1898; first edition in good+ condition; contains evocative b&w photos of early religious edifices from around the country; withdrawal from college library with only one sticker and one stamp as ex-library indicators; text block tight and square in sturdy folio boards; a few pages show tape repairs to edges, but most photos are in remarkably good condition; final page contains a prospectus for the Hydraulic Press Brick Company; verso of last page shows some soiling; approximately 60 thick, glossy pages 5-BNB-top.
