The covers are tight and straight, grubby edges, corners and spine ends bumped and frayed. The end papers feature b/w illustrations by W. Hyde. The front paste down has tiny blue bookseller's sticker for Henry Walker, New and Old Bookseller, Leeds. Dark brown tinted top cut edge; the tail and fore edges are deckled and very tanned. The text block is in good condition, firm and very lightly tanned around most page edges; sound for 1905. No dedications etc. No jacket.
