Edward Pococke (1604-1691) was an English Orientalist and biblical scholar. Malachi or Mal'achi refers to the prophet in the Bible, the Christian Old Testament and Jewish Tanakh. Externally, a trifle rubbed, with wear to the extremities, rubbing to the boards and some slight chips to the spine.
