Quarter bound light blue cloth, gilt title on spine and gilt vertical border at end of light blue binding. Dark blue cloth with small gilt embossed illustration and title on upper cover. Boards show light wear with lower board soiled near bottom edge. Head/tail of spine, edges and corners worn and bumped. VG. 2nd Edition. Hard Cover.

Tipped-in as a frontispiece is a "platinum photograph" of the author by Mr. Takuma Kajiwara. It has offset leaving a shadow on the title page opposite. Also tipped-in are 24 sepia halftones of Sylvester's original nature-themed paintings, all with red-titled tissue guards.
