The dust wrapper has some abrasion and sunning to each panel, most notably at the spine. The top and tail edges of each panel are also chipped and shelf-worn. It has not been price clipped and shows the original price of '21s'. The boards are free from notable chips and marks. There is a stunning previous owner's inscription to the front fly leaf in a deep blue ink, dated January 1961. The text blocks are free from foxing. Overall, this is a very good copy. Tanner's classic book on Ferrari, describing the man and both his road and racing cars.

Signed and inscribed to the front endpaper: "To my friend Torre Bjistrom, with my best wishes, Hans Tanner". Tanner's classic book on Ferrari, describing the man and both his road and racing cars. The book reached its sixth edition by 1984 with Doug Nye co-authoring after Tanner passed away in 1975. A near fine book in a very good dust wrapper which is worn at the extremities and spine ends and is gently faded to the spine. The first time we have handled a signed copy of this title.
