Los Angeles: University of Southern California. This GOOD hard cover is an interesting piece of Hollywood memorabilia as it is inscribed by the author to the co-director (Y. Frank Freeman) of Cecil B. DeMille's motion picture "The Ten Commandments". The inscription reads: "To Y. Frank Freeman whose vision has helped immensly (sic) to make the picture 'The Ten Commandments' and this book possible. Gratefully, Henry S. Noerdlinger, Oct. 24, 1956." Also of note is a former owner's name and date (Randy Wood 1957) at ffe. Mr. Wood was the president of Dot Records who held the soundtrack rights to the film. (We have included a copy of a February 2, 1957 Billboard Magazine article indicating this professional alliance between Mr. Wood and Mr. Freeman.) A third fact of importance is that the book came from the personal collection of Academy Award winning screenwriter Philip Yordan (who worked on the Heston film El Cid).
