W. & R. Chambers Ltd., 1909. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1909. No Edition Remarks. 373 pages. No dust jacket. Decorative cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white illustrated plates. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Pen inscription to reverse of frontispiece. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

London: W & R Chambers Good+ Copy in beige cloth on boards with brown titles and illustration on cover and spine. Spine is lightly sunned with some wear to head/foot. Previous owners inscription on FFE. Lower corner edges of several early folios have been chipped off, also folios 185-190. Otherwise clean text and b/w plates.
