Pages and plates are moderately tanned and foxed, but text and images remain clear. Visible marking to some pages throughout, but text is not affected. Binding is firm. Mild cracking to front hinge, and tape to rear one. Rough-cut edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Plastic covering to spine and board corners to protect them. Some loss to spine ends. Gilt remains bright. Heavy rubbing and scuffing overall, with a few visible marks also.
