Quarto. 9.5 x 12 in. 128 pp. Illustrated with hundred of plates from photographs, including 319 plates of instruments, 619 labels, and one folding map. Very good in original light blue cloth stamped in gold, with some sun fading to extremities, in good dust jacket with several blemishes and chips and tears to edges. This book, which is the sequel to the author's famous work on the great craftsmen of the Italian violin, deals with the makers of bowed and plucked instruments who lived in what was (at the time of publication) Czechoslovakia.
