Boards recased with renewed endpapers, a hint of shelf wear to extremities, else a Very Good, internally clean and sound copy overall. Signed by the illustrator on colophon. Splendidly illustrated edition of Richard Burton's poem, a pseudotranslation attributed to the Persian poet Haji Abdu el-Yezdi which was, in fact, Burton's "Eastern nom-de-plume" (p. ix).
