London: Oxford University Press, 1934 Maroon cloth; gilt spine lettering. An Oxford Medical Publication. SCARCE. Industrial diseases and poisoning. Illustrated with one color plate and eleven black-and-white plates with photographs of conditions caused by industrial toxins. Many graphs and tables including large foldout Table VIII entitles "Statistics of Compensation under the Workmen's Compensation Act 1906, from 1908 to 1931 inclusive." Very light rubbing to extremities. Upper half-inch of front cover and all of spine somewhat sunned. Library marks: paper spine label; attractive library bookplate affixed to inside front cover; "withdrawn. . ." inkstamp on front blank endpaper; perforated library mark title page; due date slip in diagonal strip at inside rear cover; tiny library inkstamps to margins of plates and fold-out table. Otherwise clean, tight, and unworn.
