The text is charmingly written with some folksiness and first person accounts that add to the color.

Wear to extremities w/ significant chipping to spine ends. Top edge gilt. Leaves untrimmed. Neat inscription to previous owner on front blank endpaper. Several leaves unopened. Illust. w/ color and b/w plates, and b/w drawings.. Hard Cover. Fair to Good/No Dust Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
