Hardcover. Fair. Water damage has warped and deeply stained the bottom quarter of this book. Nonetheless, all the pages are legible and the book makes interesting reading. The covers are loosening and are thoroughly worn, and the front end paper is missing. The head and tail of the spine are very worn.

(1859 - 1936) was an American Congregational theologian, born at Fauresmith, Orange River Colony, South Africa, educated in Edinburgh at Watson's College School and at the Congregational Theological Hall.
