In overall good used condition in a fair dust jacket with some minor signs of age, handling and storage - dust jacket rubbed, chipped and nicked (now protected); boards slightly rubbed. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; foxing to page-ends but text bright and clear throughout. Photographs available. Not an old library book.

Mounted on the front cover is the original white-paper title label, printed in blue. This appears to be the first American edition of a work first published 1914 in the UK (London: Duckworth and Co).
