Binding worn and restored, front joint cracked but holding; a few faint stains but overall a surprisingly clean, unwashed copy internally (I3 & I4 with shorter foremargin). Bookplate of John Moore Paget. A6, "To the beholder of this title" is bound at beginning, as usual, opposite the fine engraved title signed Martin Dr(oeshout); Droeshout is best known, of course, for a portrait which first appeared in 1623.
