Black titling is bold and nearly undamaged, with just a few spots of wear, including to the 'O' in Judo. Spine not dulled or faded. Binding solid with sound, uncracked hinges. Former owner's 1958 gift inscription from father to son to rear pastedown (from Yokohama, Japan -- upon the son's earning his green belt in Judo). Full of b/w illustrations of demonstrations of techniques by the author. 245 pp.
