Dj missing a narrow piece along top rear and has several closed tears. Bumping aftects all pages including the auto-lithograph which otheriwse is Fine. Textblock also is very clean and images bright.. Hardcover. Good/Good.

London & Greenwich, CT: George Rainbird Limited & The New York Graphic Society,, 1958. First edition, signed limited issue for subscribers, number 76 of 150 copies signed and dated by Moore on the frontispiece. This large-format volume of sketches and notes contains one of Moore's earliest lithographs to be printed at the Curwen Press, the full page colour lithograph "Thirteen Standing Stones". In 1968 Henry Moore became his own publisher establishing a partnership with Curwen that was to last 28 years. Folio. Original half brown morocco with blue paper boards by Zaehnsdorf, titles to front cover and spine in white. Housed in the publisher's illustrated grey cloth slipcase. Auto-lithograph frontispiece in 4 colours on handmade wove paper with Henry Moore watermark, titled "Thirteen Standing Figures", illustrated throughout with full-page drawings on Chater's Chariot Offset Cartridge paper. Copy 20, one of the first 27 special copies, containing a signed original drawing as well as a signed lithograph, from the limited edition of 150 copies. Folio, 340 x 490 mm. Publisher's full natural morocco, stamped in red on the cover and spine, after Moore's autograph. Fine condition; original plastic jacket. The drawing, in sepia ink, on white wove paper, signed "Moore 56" is titled "Seated Figures 1955-1956," and is cited as AG 55-56.75 / HMF 2814 in the catalogue raisonné of Moore's drawings. It measures 235 x 292 mm. and is mounted to a piece of brown Ingres paper (260 x 315 mm.). The lithograph is "Thirteen Standing Figures", 1958, (CGM 41) produced in an edition of 150, it measures 250 x 305 mm.
