Signed and dated by Owens to the half-title. Tight, square, uncreased spine. Unmarked interior. There is some moderate sunning and wear to the covers, as well as a few small areas of light soiling. There are a couple other very small areas of soiling to the interior, as well as a dampstain affecting the bottom edge of the latter half of the book. Really incredible monograph by Owens, capturing the twentieth-century suburban zeitgeist. Art.

The uncommon first printing of this late 20th century photography classic. This is an unusually well-preserved collector's copy of this title. Square, very tight, flat, stiff and crisp, with a bright and clean interior, unmarked and apparently unread, considering the tightness of the book and the flat uncreased spine. Faint toning to niside of wraps, intrinsic to the book production, else very fine. FINE. SCARCE IN THIS NEARLY FLAWLESS COLLECTOR'S CONDITION..

Includes 126 tritones and unlike the original edition 17 color images as well. A very fine copy in photo-illustrated boards. No dust jacket as issued. Signed by Owens on the title page.
