Black cloth covered boards with burgundy title plate with gold lettering affixed to spine. Plate is slightly worn at edges and starting to come loose also at edges. Dust stained textblock top edge. 141 pages.

New York: Boni and Liveright, 1928. First edition. Numeral discreetly inked to rear endpaper; label a trifle rubbed, else fine in a lightly nicked dust jacket with a couple of small chips.. 8vo, 141pp; ribbed cloth with printed spine label. Schneider's first book of poems, in the Imagist vein, followed his semi-pseudonymous novel Doctor Transit.

Modest wear at the spine ends, faint spotting on top page edges, and gilt title a bit dull, very good lacking the dust jacket. Inscribed by the author to author, critic, and editor Malcolm Cowley: "For Peggy and Malcolm in friendship, Isidor Schneider." A proletarian novel.
