Externally lovely with minor shelf wear, light bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Dust wrapper unclipped and very smart with minor shelf wear only, minor staining mark internally to wraps not affecting externals. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to fore edge, affecting only first and last few leaves; pages otherwise bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

With the dust-jacket featuring a blue and orange ravening wolf, priced at 28s. Also with a contemporary Book Society membership invitation loose to preliminaries. Some rubbing to jacket edges. Near fine. Originally published in French in 1963, comprising 'Malvenue' and 'Marie the Wolf.' Durrell describes Seignolle's Gothic style as '... at once curious, poetic and also realistic.'.
