Pencil owners signature on first page. Map shows positions hundreds British ships sunk by German submarines. Illustrations include a Battery of 18 pounders in Action, Cathedral at Ypres, Boy Scouts in London, Handley Page Biplane Aeroplane plane capable of carrying 28 men, First and Second Battleship Squadrons of Super Dread Noughts, Anzacs arriving for service at Central Hall Westminster. and more. Wonderful; article on Queen Mary's Auxiliary Hospital and their work with amputees and helping the wounded return to normal life.

He was one of about a dozen Australian journalists invited to tour the battlefields of Europe at the behest of Lord Beaverbrook and his new Ministry of Information.
