First published in 1936, this is the story about an activist trying to organise abused labourers in order to gain fair wages and working conditions, a precursor to his much more famous The Grapes of Wrath. Softening and a little rubbing of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book corners. Tanning of the text block edges and age toning of the pages.
