New York: si., 1916. Loose_leaf. Fine. Fantastic large, original, signed etching with drypoint of St. Bartholomews Church in New York city [on the East side of Park Avenue btwn 50-51 Streets]. Printed on heavyweight quality watermarked cream colored cotton rag. Sheet size approx. 28" x 21". Image size (to the plate mark) approx. 19" x 14". Strong, well inked impression in virtually flawless, fine condition. St. Bartholomews church, located in the Upper East Side of the island of Manhattan, city of New York, can be easily found via Google street views and compared to this view by the artist from the early 1900's (the upper left corner bears the caption "Copyright Curt Szekessy, New York and Szekessy can be found listed as holder of various copyrights in a number of year's issues of the "Catalog of Copyright Entries: Works of Art" beginning around 1916).
