Very good. - Small octavo, brown cloth titled in gilt on the spine & in gilt within double gilt frames on the front cover with a vignette in gilt on the rear cover. The covers are very lightly rubbed & bumped & the head & tail of the spine are lightly chipped. 121 & [1] pages. The pastedowns & endpapers are darkened. Two clippings have been pasted on the front endpaper & the edges of the endpaper are chipped with small pieces out. Very good. <p>First edition.<p>From the library of bookman Charles Dexter Allen, who was an expert on bookplates, with his book label on the front pastedown.
