Jacket is marked and discoloured throughout, with edges nicked and torn, including a large tear to the front at the lower edge. Page block foot is rough cut, and page block and pages are tanned and foxed throughout. Pages and text are otherwise clear and bright. LW. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. Used.

The book itself shows a slight slant, paste-downs toned, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. The dust jacket with the spine faded, some chipping and creasing along the extremities, price-clipped, otherwise remains colorful, and distinct. As pictured.

Text block is remarkably clean and tight save for the slightly hint of foxing to preliminaries. In boldly illustrated black, pink and white dust jacket, not price clipped. Jacket shows some soiling, with a slight darkening near edges and small chip and closed tear to the top of the front cover. A nice copy in great jacket. near fine Wells Society #127.
