Margarine was legalized in Canada in 1948. Recipes tested by Chatelaine Institute. Recipes for soups, veggies, meat, egg and cheese dishes, deserts, breads. This is a Canadian cookery book featuring (according to the printer of the book - see Driver) the art of A.J. Casson, member of the iconic Canadian Group of Seven artists.
